Breath, just breath :)

For years, I didn’t really care about what I ate, whether I had enough sleep, or how I felt. When I was stressed, I’d eat everything I wanna eat. Now, I put more importance on self-care. Only by nurturing myself am I able to nurture others. We all have a beautiful responsibility to care for ourselves. Instead of looking at this as a burden, we can see it as a way of celebrating humanity. I’m learning to be more aware. If I start to feel stressed or unsupported by life, I know that it’s because I’m being unconscious. I’m not trusting, savoring, or allowing myself to be nurtured by life itself. When I stop and step into the moment, I’m connected and transformed. By intentionally living my life, I accumulate wisdom and fullness from each experience. The growth process is so exciting. I love the in-between point, when we begin to notice our behavior and change it. For me, it’s easiest to tune in to my life when I appreciate that there’s so much out there supporting us. Just breathing and realizing the fact that we’re breathing brings us into the awareness that we’re supported. When we breathe, we show our profound trust in life, in God, and in the universe. When we inhale, we’re full of life. When we exhale, we trust deeply that we’ll be supported. We all breathe. It’s something every living thing does in some way. We’re all connected. By making the tiniest shift to be present, we open ourselves up to experience a connection with nature, with others, and with ourselves. Life is so beautiful, and we’re part of it just by being in our human body. I’m learning to trust that I’m supported and everything is okay. Not that it’s going to be okay. It is okay.
